Every Sonne piece purchased on our website is covered by a 1 year manufacturing warranty, when a valid proof of purchase is presented. Warranties are valid from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing faults and defects in materials or workmanship.
Each Sonne piece is carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure it meets our quality standards. However, in rare circumstances, a manufacturing defect may occur.
What is included in the 1-year warranty?
This warranty covers manufacturing defects, plating fading earlier than expected, breaks, scratches, or chips on stones detected upon receipt only (not due to wear over time).
The warranty does not cover damages caused by daily wear, accidents, or misuse, including marks, dents, or scratches from regular use, discolouration due to contact with chemicals, cosmetics, swimming pools, hot tubs, or baths, deformed rings from practical activities or impacts, even if this results in stone loss, bent or worn prongs leading to stone loss, and broken chains, links, clasps, or earring posts due to wear or handling. Please note that general wear and tear from regular use is not considered a manufacturing fault. Jewellery is delicate and should be handled with care in accordance with the care instructions provided on our product pages and Wear and Care cards.
Please note that, as we work with natural materials, some pieces may present slight variations that are not considered defects.

Returns Policy
Take the stress out of online buying. We will happily exchange or refund your purchase within 7 days of receiving it (much longer at Christmas!) Please ensure all returns are in unworn condition and kept in their original packaging with any tags, leaflets, free gifts etc. kept on. Returns will be subject to assessment.
No returns or exchanges accepted on all sale or outlet styles.
We do not offer exchange, credit or refund on customised and/or special order goods.
Returns that are incomplete, damaged, worn or returned without their original packaging, tags, leaflets, free gifts etc. originally supplied by us may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer at the customer's expense.

The General Warranty Under Australian Consumer Law ( as shown below under Product Warranties) states 'The consumer will bear the expense of claiming the warranty.' This includes the cost of returning the goods to us.
